Computational Techniques in Soft Matter 2010 (CTSM10)
Date: 6 to 10 December 2010
Venue: S N Bose National Centre For Basic Sciences
Kolkata
|
The study of soft matter, e.g. complex fluids, colloids, polymers, foams, gels, granular materials, and a number of biological materials, often require special computational techniques. Predominantly, the physics in these systems is dominated by thermal Brownian forces coupled to solvent degrees of freedom. In this school, prominent scientists will share their experience in the computational modeling of soft matter through class room lectures as well as "hands on", problem solving sessions conducted in a modern electronic classroom.
